skill disparity in ranked
i'm trying to play ranked with my friend; neither of us have ranks, unrated, and we haven't played in months.
it says there's too large of a skill disparity to play together, but as mentioned previously, we're both unranked and have had no prior ranks since months and months ago.
is there a way to get past this?

Wouldn’t matter if you haven’t played comp for months, the mmr of either 1 of you is higher than the other person
The only way is for the person with higher rank/mmr to play on an alt
