input method thingy keeps crashing

i'm bilingual so it's kinda essential. It was fine at first, but started crashing randomly a couple days ago. Any clues?

Solution:

i'm stupid, the layout got deleted somehow in keyboard settings, but i could also work around that by autostarting fcitx 5 if that ever helps anyone...
