Seeing the same thing (Alpha Prime).. Manipulating the scroll wheel seems to exacerbate the ghosting. The first activation of B21 you see is me moving the wheel up one click. After that, all the rest are ghosts.
Strangely, the Alpha-L (non prime) on my collective does not do this.
Thanks, looks like the Alpha prime works a bit different to the FLNKR w.r.t to LED controls
Does the LED work on the prime btw? Don't have one to test 🙂
Yeah, the LEDs work as expected (on both the Prime and the Alpha-L). I also picked up the FLNKR and its working fine, no ghosting.
It is prime alpha
Exactly it.
I will say I plugged my base directly into the front USB and it seemed to go away, however, I can't keep it there
I'm also on powered USBs
FWIW, I turned off the LED and same thing is happening
@walmis can you post a image for 17b12 like you did back here for .16 so people with the Alpha ghosting issue can revert?
It should be:
https://vpforcecontrols.com/usb/rhino/#force=ffb-rhino_v1.0.17b12.bin
I'll tackle the ghosting issues ASAP
I swear I tried manually changing the URL starting with the link I posted and wasn't able to get it to come up 😅 .. I assumed you had manually added the .16 build
@Jehly 👆
Yeah, If you change the address after the hash (# ) you need to refresh manually 🙂
Thanks!
Any special instructions how to flash it?
just hit that link and it will be exactly like updating from the website as usual... just to the previous version
Unfortunately, even with the rollback, it is still persisting. LEDs are turned off but it still gives ghost inputs.
Did it work fine before?
I went back and forth a couple of times to test.
- First time, LEDs were already turned off when I flashed from b13->b12. After flash, no ghosting. - Went back to b13 - Second time, I enabled LED, then flashed from b13->b12 with it still enabled. After it re-initialized, the LED was still on, and I was still seeing ghosting even though the configurator was showing b12 as the current firmware on the device.
- Simply re-plugging the USB cleared it up. If you're still seeing the ghosting after downgrading, try disconnecting/reconnecting the USB.

I’ll try that. My luck has struck again and my USB port got pushed in.
I think it’s held by some glue though? Can you confirm @walmis?
Yeah, you can use superglue on all 3 sides of the usb socket
It appears this has been successful. I'll hold off on firmware until that pesky LED issue gets ironed out.
