PC Restart when Val is open
Just factory reset my PC because Val was restarting my pc autoamtically when it was open. So, I reset my pc and reinstall val. Opened Val, got VAN9003, Val requires secure boot. I turned on secure boot in my BIOS and I am right back to the original problem. Val is restarting my PC automatically. I don't have this problem with any other game, and have an unholy amount of hours on val.

Press windows key
Type core isolation
And show ss rq
tells me "Page not available"
You’ll need to enable it from bios
Enter bios and show pic

MIT tab

Advanced frequency settings

Advanced CPU settings

Enable SVM Mode
anything else?
Then save and exit
launch val ?
Just check in core isolation
If memory integrity is enabled rq

Enable it
And restart ur pc

Open core isolation and show ss again

Click on review incompatible drivers

@AbhimสŇyu :ChillBar_skull:
First delete your Elgato software, you can reinstall it after
hate to be that guy, but how do i do that
Control panel > uninstall a program
And delete from there
i dont see it as an installed program

Do you use Elgato?
no
@Metamorphosis any ideas?
Go to your C: drive open Windows/System32/Drivers
dont see it in there either

Go here^ click on each of the drivers and show ss
Aha
Just search those files in ur c drive
And delete em
@AbhimสŇyu @Metamorphosis I get this message when I try to delete those.

@AbhimสŇyu @Metamorphosis UPDATE: Now when running Val, instead of the black screen and PC restart, I get a blue screen restart and the stop code is: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
Did you resolve this?
^
I have not resolved those incompatiable drivers. I can't delete them. I need permission it says.
Press windows
Type core isolation
Click on view incompatible drivers
And click on each of those drivers
And show ss
@Metamorphosis

Open power shell as admin
Type
pnputil /delete-driver oem70.inf /uninstall /force
Show ss of the result
@Metamorphosis

Are you using any Logitech device
Mouse, keyboard
Nvm those are for cams
i have a logitech webcam
other than that, no @Metamorphosis
Yeah that’s the driver for the cam
Let’s delete those drivers too
You can download them later if need
.
pnputil /delete-driver oem34.inf /uninstall /force
so do the same thing with the windows power shell? @Metamorphosis
Yes
And show ss
@bryzo What’s the progress
deleted all but logitech @Metamorphosis do i just leave that one? and what after that?
You cant enable memory integrity if you still have incompatible drivers, delete it, you can reinstall the drivers later
@bryzo ^
@Metamorphosis @AbhimสŇyu ok, i enable memory integrity then what?
already restarted my device.
Play the game now, see if it crashes
Play a few death matches
i will give it a test run when i get off of work and provide an update. thank you for all the help so far @Metamorphosis @AbhimสŇyu

:CB_salute_trauma:
didn’t work. black screen, restart. game launches and runs well while i’m in the range @Metamorphosis @AbhimสŇyu
So game crashes when you enter a match?
it will crash lobby if i just sat there too pretty sure
Hm so do you still get a blue screen/ pc restart or only the game crashes?
Free?
once i deleted the drivers, when the app is open for like 2-5 mins my pc just black screens and restarts like nothing happened @Metamorphosis @AbhimสŇyu
what happens to me is that opening valorant usually doesn’t crash my pc. It crashes as soon as I find a match, on the agent select screen, and after a match is over. It also happens sometimes when queuing into the range. It NEVER happens midgame, only before and after.
@Metamorphosis
@Metamorphosis @AbhimสŇyu i lied, just tested sitting in a lobby... that also black screens and restarts my computer.
