Desktop freezes, becomes unresponsive.
I just got bazzite installed on an old pre-built I've got.
Sometimes when I boot and get to the desktop, it doesn't appear that I'm able to interact with anything. I can move the cursor around, but the icons don't change when I mouse over them and I can't get anything to open.
Yesterday I was able to get rocket League started through steam. I alt-tabbed because the controller didn't work and when I did, the desktop froze again. The music from rocket League continued to play though.
Today, I got rocket League started and was playing around in it. Everything was working fine until I closed it and went back to the desktop, where it froze again.
I can also leave the computer when it's in this frozen state and it will lock the computer. Everything works on the lock screen, and I can type in my password to go back to the desktop, but it's still frozen.
I'm new to Linux, so I'm not really sure what to look at for this.

try adding this to the steam launch options if you are running through steam
(swap resolution to whatever you want to actually use)
also are you using the nvidia image or the normal image
I am running through steam, I'll add that. But sometimes I get the freezing before I open anything.
I'm currently using a Nvidia GPU (970) but I also had the same issues using the integrated graphics (i7-6700).
maybe try to check the ram first
memtest or something like that
oh and are you using the nvidia image or the normal image
I've got the Nvidia image
Yea try to run memtest overnight
Or if you still have windows installed and is really impatient then run tm5
You can also try to use journald browser to see what is crashing
I've got the memtest86 running right now. At 95%
I had windows 11 installed (which was causing problems because my CPU is to old. That's the whole reason for trying Linux)
I can try installing win10, though.

Good
Then you may want to look at journald
Can I do that without booting? Lol
It's freezing after booting ever since I did the memory test
I do actually still have my windows install on a different HDD
Hmmm
In that case I have no clue
Maybe try tm5 on windows
