for D you can just put values and for a b c you have to see the direction of wave velocity and thats done by by comparing coeff of x and t.

1 is probably true. whenever y= smthing mein x and t ke coeff ka sign same ho toh wave moving in -ve dirn , and agar alag alag ho to +ve x dirn

Answer would be D (plug in x=1 and add). Also y_1 travels in +ve x while y_2 in -ve x axis.

sooooo basically the fuction of x being in denominator doesnt change anything
SirLancelotDuLac
for D option just plug in value of x=1 and add. Also write the g(x,t) in y_2 as 3(x-2)+4t. It is the same wave (in terms of shape, frequency etc.) but shifted right by 2 units and travelling in the opposite direction. Oh, also y_2 is mirror image of y_1 in x axis.

Yes of previous phase

multi correct nahi hai? some1 pls confirm is this is true or not
SirLancelotDuLac
Idts. Its the opposite. y_1 travels in +x and y_2 travels in -x

check this
SirLancelotDuLac
Yep. the first equation is of form 3x-4t so +ve x-axis and the second one is of form 3x+4t so -ve x right?

oh right ulta dekh lia
