Unable to write to smb share
My file server has smb enabled. Bazzite picks it up right away and I'm able to read from it but if I try to write to it I get a permisison error. I don't see any options for specifying my username and password that has write permission for share. How can I enable write on the smb share in Bazzite?

how did you open the share? it just show up in sidebar or you open it in the remote folder
Showed up under remote section of dolphin
right click and edit, add username before ip like
smb://username@ip
Added it but still no prompt. Still able to access it like it is a guest user with read-only access. My file server is Unraid 7.0.
try to do username:password@ip then
btw i assume you can access it normally in other device?
Correct, I was able to access it properly on my macbook.
It doesn't save the password in the string. It resets it to username@ip.
try typing it manually in the url bar
Still access denied for writing and the url bar does the same with dropping the password.
thats weird, try run
smbclient //ip -U username
in terminal, does that prompt for password? That works. I was able to create a new directory as well.
Weird dolphin isn’t letting me
try removing the sidebar shortcut and manually entering the url
Still no luck.
