Rails help
I’m taking a course in university right now where we build an actual app for an end user (clubs, orgs, or university staff)
Only “catch” is that it has to be written in Rails, use Postgres as the db, and has to be deployed to Heroku. (Everything else is fair game)
Needless to say I am an astrojs + svelte guy
Does anyone have tools that make rails development a little bit nicer? Or any resources to get going with rails 8
Because the team is considering 2 different paths.
- rails + hotwire (stay within the rails ecosystem and try to learn the rails way of doing things)
- rails + react (ditching the rails way and just using things that everyone is comfortable with)
Any help would be awesome!
