Cloudflare tunnel no connector resolving

OK, so not a networking god, but i know enough to get things through but this has me stumped. I am setting up service to expose servers for externally tried to setup a cloudflare tunnel and it will not resolve a connector. I tried in a docker on synology nas, on proxmox server, on windows system in docker, and on spare computer in linux setup. Everything I have seen says cloudflare tunnels are easy to setup and know I am banging my head against the wall since all i get is a 502 bad gateway. I tried open ports i did port check added ddns key everything i could think of to force these servers external through the tunnel. I guess what am i doing wrong?
