Low performance on HTPC

In gaming mode, there seems to be an issue where the performance is lower than expected on my 4k TV. I've got an amd rx 6800 and ryzen 5 5600x. Cyberpunk performance is quite low, but is about 60% faster when testing in desktop mode for example

I have a theory that it's because gaming mode reckons I have a TDP limit of 203 watts, and that's the combined power from the CPU and gpu This gpu is supposed to reach about 200 watts on its own I'm soon about to test elden ring from steam, but I would also like to mention that I was running the gog version of cyberpunk since I got it on a discount a while ago It's definitely related to the TDP being shared I increased the limit in lact and now it's still sharing. Performance is a bit better but about 20 watts more usage which is in line with how much I increased it by I've just noticed that the memory clock is stuck at 1000mhz Never mind... It is just the way Linux shows it I figured it out Doing a custom curve in lact allows me to customise the curve. Unfortunately, the temperature report is incorrect which means the fans never ramp up and I'm hitting thermal limits

the temperature report is whatever the sensors report
