Low performance on HTPC

In gaming mode, there seems to be an issue where the performance is lower than expected on my 4k TV. I've got an amd rx 6800 and ryzen 5 5600x. Cyberpunk performance is quite low, but is about 60% faster when testing in desktop mode for example

I have a theory that it's because gaming mode reckons I have a TDP limit of 203 watts, and that's the combined power from the CPU and gpu

I'm soon about to test elden ring from steam, but I would also like to mention that I was running the gog version of cyberpunk since I got it on a discount a while ago

I increased the limit in lact and now it's still sharing. Performance is a bit better but about 20 watts more usage which is in line with how much I increased it by

Doing a custom curve in lact allows me to customise the curve. Unfortunately, the temperature report is incorrect which means the fans never ramp up and I'm hitting thermal limits
