AMDGPU page faults crashing games

Hi, the amdgpu driver keeps crashing some games for me (Death Stranding, Ready or Not). I have attached the dmesg output. I have tried adding iommu=pt to the kernel arguments, this just introduced stutters. Forcing /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level to high also didnt help. I'm running a RX 7900 GRE on a Ryzen 5700X System. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Solution:
proton experimental is what i was using, Proton GE 9-23 seems to be working for now...

Have you tried with proton-experimental, and\or proton-ge-latest?

iommu=pt is only needed for gpu passthrough for vms

i would never have thought that using the wrong proton version could crash the gpu driver and with it, the desktop

can i mark this as not solved after all? same issue still happens with Proton-GE, it just takes longer... yeah, sometimes it works for a few hours, sometimes 15 minutes, but it always crashes eventually. Gonna try the amdvlk driver... so far, it seems like with amdvlk theres a
ring gfx timeout
ring gfx timeout
instead of the above, which has soft-recovered twice but also crashed the system once
