Bazzite sleep issue

Hey guys, I noticed today that if I charging my device while in sleep mode will turn it on. For example, if I put my device in sleep mode. It turns off and the white light begins to flash. If I plug it in than once it registers that it’s being charged, it turns on. If I put it in sleep mode again, It will turn on automatically if I unplug the charging cable. Any suggestions on this fix would be appreciated. Thanks

we are currently testing if it helps with tdp being stuck

The ROG Ally has a bug where if you unplug/plug the device while sleeping, TDP gets completely stuck at min TDP until a reboot. The recently added workaround for that is to have the device wake up when you plug/unplug the device.

Yes, it’s happened to me one time. A restart on bazzite fixed it for me.

restart fixes it but you should have to restart

The issue I’m having now is the device turns on automatically if I plug or unplug a charger

yes we made it that way so hopefully tdp does not get stuck the reasoning goes if it wakes up it wont get messed up

Oh I see what you’re saying now. Thank you for letting me know

You can put it back to sleep when it wakes up. Slightly more annoying, but probably better than needing to reboot for to get TDP controls working again.
