AMD RX 6900XT Memory Clock Stuck on 1GHz (and should't it be 2GHz by specs?)

As title says, I'm having some doubts and issues. First, by specs, shouldn't the clock be 2GHz (on Windows I see it at 2GHz, and online I find it should be 2GHz), is it maybe because of a different driver reading between Windows and Linux? For the stuck frequency: I have a dual monitor setup 2560x1440p@144Hz, I tried searching on internet and I found some posts that talks about it. I saw this bug it's also present on Windows like they say here or here or even here. Is there any fix?

6900 XT high idle memory clock
I know there are some other people out there with the same issue, but AMD needs to fix this as nVidia had the same issue in the past and they fixed. 5700 XTs, 6800 XTs, 6900 XTs, and tons other that are not aware of this because they don't monitor clocks and temperatures as they use their expensive ...

what happens if you actually run a game? My Nvidia GTX1070 also clocks down when idle power saving

Vram Clock stays still to 1GHz fixed, does not fluctuate. But also on Windows it stays 2GHz fixed, so it might just be AMD weird stuff. But I'm not sure about the difference 1GHz vs 2Ghz

vram is DDR (double data rate), its just displayed differently depending on what tool you use 1GHz and 2GHz are both correct one just doesnt double it this even happens with tools in windows, EVGA (rip) percision X reported the vram speed at the real clock instead of the effective clock (real*2) so in your case 1GHz is the real clock speed and if you want the effective clock speed (the one you refer to being 2GHz) you just multiply it by 2

Thank you very much!! So for the fixed vram rate I can't do anything, it's on amd side I guess

you can change them though

Yes but it's gonna be stuck on 1GHz even in idle

i dont mess with lact much but it will clock as low as it can when it can if you give it a minimum as long as the clocks are non default it will not idle at 1ghz

the D in DDR stands for double
