HDR, Gnome, AMD and Gamescope

I'm trying to get HDR working on a fresh bazzite install. I'm using gnome, I have an HDR capable monitor and running an AMD 7800XT I have this as my launch options: gamescope -e --hdr-enabled -- %command% I've also tried with -w 2560 -h 1440 and also adding -W 2560 -H 1440 I'm using helldivers 2 to test this with as it has an HDR toggle in the display settings. None of these allow me to toggle on HDR. I also don't have an option to toggle HDR in my display settings as I've seen in other threads.
Solution:
You need the actual game mode session, only deck images have that

GNOME does not support HDR yet You have to use Steam game mode Or switch to KDE, by reinstalling There's a very broken experimental switch you can enable to have it HDR in the desktop, but it is very much not worth it yet
