I understand this is Lee stormer jacket from 1970s , can anybody help me with the exact colour and where I can get this! Thanks

Ebay, vinted, depop, depending where you are poshmark and i think grailed is a thing too. look up lee storm rider jacket and you’ll get a decent range. failing that and if you can’t find what you like blanket lined corduroy collar denim jacket might get some good results

literally just search in vintage lee storm rider jacket and you’ll find what you’re looking for
if you’re wanting true vintage there’ll be such a range that it doesn’t matter that much
NOS/VOS and deadstock are things to look for if you want it to look as new as it does there, but bare in mind that’ll be much more expensive
I don’t mind if it’s expensive as long as it’s from the same year as the one delon is wearing
i think you get too caught up on having the exact same as whatever movie star or tv star you’re fixating on
i know you’ve been advised this before but think about what you want that specific one
lee storm riders haven’t changed a huge amount, sure there’ll be differences across 50+ years of production but just find a jacket you like dude
ain’t no use in copying outfits piece for piece, go for vibe and find how you like to dress rather and you’ll be much happier

it is not worth obsessing over the color of alain delons jacket from a 1960s film because the camera it was shot on does not accurately represent the color of the jacket, and neither does your computer or phone screen
you are better off just looking on ebay and picking the color of one that you think you do like than trying to guess at what color his was, because no one is going to be able to give that to you
you are just going to have to doomscroll ebay like the rest of us until you find the one that makes you happy

I went deep researching these on eBay a year or two ago, and the problem I had was that the truly old ones are too small for me, and the 80s/90s ones have really big and wide upper sleeves which look terrible on me (I did buy one so I know it looks terrible on me). I figured I would have to explore the modern repros from other brands but I haven’t gotten there yet (too-many-jackets related)
yeahh i’d kill for one of these cause i dig that robert redford look from butch cassidy and the sundance kid, but damn i have too many jackets

keep in mind the jacket was not made with that color, don't expect to find the exact one
yeah there's no telling how much fading occurred through regular use. imo this is a case of finding a storm rider and then wearing it often

There are a lot of great modern repros, for example Ginew and TCB. On the lower price end there's Bronson and Red Tornado.

Incorrect, the TCB is probably the most faithful repro of an older storm rider that has been made
all you are looking at is colour, which is because the jacket in the movie has been worn and washed over and over causing the indigo to fade
Frankie buddy, what is with you and finding exact items from movies, my dude? People have told you multiple times that it’s sort of reductive. You can find similar items a lot of the time but the likelihood of finding the EXACT item is insanely low.
there's a non faded version that is also cheaper
I've been looking into it. TCB is better and thicker denim + 100% wool lining. Edwin is cheaper and with a more authentic cropped look, but 50% wool lining and made in Vietnam which might not be under the best working conditions.
looking closely TCB is way way better but i dont understand why the made it so long. sorry for hijacking this thread

But since La Piscine released in 1969 and that says it's seventies storm rider then no it isn't the "one" Delon was wearing
But it doesn't really matter, you aren't going to find the one. So just look for vintage storm riders and get one you like
