Force zone hold removal

I purchased the domain and got transferred to my registrar so now I'm the domain owner. However I'm not able to add it to CloudFlare because of this error when adding a domain "The zone name provided is subject to a hold which disallows the creation of this zone. Please contact the domain owner to have this hold removed." I believe the zone hold was imposed by the existing registrar (Cosmotown) and is not lifted even after the domain is legally transferred to me by the seller. I've changed my nameservers to non-CloudFlare's and made sure that they're correctly propagated, but I'm still unable to add my domain to CloudFlare because the zone hold is still there. This is quite concerning to me if the zone hold does not timeout once the domain is no longer locked onto CloudFlare's nameservers, and what if the existing registrar refuses or ignores my request to lift the zone hold? Does that mean they can held my domain forever in CloudFlare? That's not making any sense since the domain is no longer registered under them. MY REQUEST Can CloudFlare support please help me to lift the zone hold? I can prove the domain is indeed owned by me with TXT verification method, upon request. Thank you in advanced 🙂

Create an Account ticket and explain that you are the new owner of the domain.
