RR Gain/Loss doesn't make sense
So I'm currently silver 2 and my friend is gold 1. When I solo queued and match mvped in a gold lobby I got 20rr, but when he match mvped in an iron-bronze lobby he gets 23rr. When we play together, even though I place above him on the leaderboard; I still gain less rr and lose more. The obvious answer would be that my mmr is lower, however as I mentioned, I get put into gold lobbies while he gets put into bronze lobbies?

Only logical answer is either his bronze lobby people have gold mmr, or your gold lobby people have bronze mmr,
or you just play worse than him.
