Help me buy my first shoes/boots
So, I've never owned a pair of shoes/boots before. No really sure what to get, this are some of my clothes for reference. I don't want something super dressy, I'm thinking some more in between.
Bonus question: are the green pant stoo short?

I know you said boots, which often implies high or at least mid top styles but what are your thoughts on red wing moc oxfords?
The length of the green pants is fine. Do you have a budget? Derbies or loafers may work for you
Budget would be helpful, for sure. All other things being equal, can I introduce you to the wonderful world of the Clark’s Wallabee boot?
I'm fine with not boots, I put it there so people didn't think I only wanted low tops. I'm really open to any shoe, mostly.
I'm not in the US, so it will be hard to give a budget as even the brands and model won't be available in my country.
I’m a huge low top fanboy as long as you’re not somewhere the weather is absolutely putrid.
There are people not from the US here as well
So if you provide your country or region and budget in local currency people may still be able to help out
Brazil, around 500 reais
Plugging that into a conversion calculator, that’s about 85 USD. That’s pretty low, for that price you’re best off looking at second-hand options
Converting won't work much. As sho6e produced here have productions costs in reais not in dollars. Bu I was mostly looking for styles rather than specific brands.
Loafers.
I think a Chukka would be nice first step
Chukkas would definitely be a strong contender. You might also consider a white canvas sneaker, or a moccasin toe boot
Not to hijack OP’s thread but do you have suggestions on brand/material/color? Would black leather be most versatile?
Also would brown suede Chelsea’s be more versatile and modern than Chukkas
