Bazzite restart issue on OneXPlayer Mini Pro
Hello! Hope everyone is doing well 🙂
I am new to Linux and Bazzite. I successfully installed on my OneXPlayer Mini Pro 6800U and so far everything is working well except for one issue. When I try restarting the device in game mode or desktop mode, it will always shut down on its own after showing the OneXPlayer logo and the Bazzite logo beside it. Pressing the power button to boot the device again will lead to the same issue. Therefore after restarting I am ultimately unable to boot into the device anymore. I realise however if I plug in my charger to the device, it will suddenly boot on its own and will go through the Grub menu momentarily and proceed to OneXPlayer + Bazzite logo but this time it will pass through and boot successfully.
This issue only happens when restarting the device. Turning it on after shutting down has been normal so far. Not entirely sure what is happening. Hope anyone is able to guide me on the fix.
PS. I am not dual booting, my SSD was fully wipe for Bazzite during the installation 🙂

Hello antheas! Thank you for the swift reply. I see, that’s unfortunate. I have no idea what’s going on as well. I don’t remember the device having this issue when it was still running windows hence why I thought it could be a glitch of some sort
rebooting requires special instructions
could always try hitting escape to see why it does that
maybe htey are broken
in the scope of things, youre lucky its this minor
Alright noted antheas! Funnily enough I tried charging the device until full and restarted the device on battery, it worked this time. I’m guessing could be a battery issue of some sort
