£300 budget, what's the biggest way of improving my fashion sense?
Hey, I'm a 25m (183cm, 104kg) in cardiff and I honestly have horrible fashion sense, say that I was starting out with 0 clothes, how should I spend the £300? It is a flexible budget +£100 or so, but all my clothes either don't fit correctly or are just poor quality, any help is appreciated even if its just a article that someone recommends

You do not need to spend all at once! Go slow. Check out content online and zero in on a look you want to replicate
But slowly
I think the best way to start is going to be figuring out how you want to dress, you could always go for something like the basic bastard but I think a better method is going to be looking at something like #inspiration or #waywt or Instagram and finding outfits you like so you have a direction to move in, looking at inspo also can help you develop a sense of style
what scott said, go slow
enjoy learning fashion can be a very fun hobby
Online or in person is fine, and I'd rather do it quite quickly purely because a lot of my clothes don't fit in a way that compliments my shape (wide)
You just run the risk of getting a lot of things you will quickly tire of
That's fair, but I think as long as it isn't like heavy graphics/designs, I tend to wear clothes until they aren't fit to wear anymore, which I know isn't exactly the most fashionable way of doing things
If you want to play with new shapes, try to be mindful of what you should aim for by looking at great examples, and then see if you can replicate them, you can stretch your budget very far if you look at thrifted options etc
But it'd be nice to have like a base wardrobe where I buy a few things here and there that has a bit more personality, but strong base
again find outfits you like on other people then yeah try and do that
if your current clothes were able to fit you properly (however you define it) and be in good condition, would you wear the same clothes?
if yes, try on differently sized (larger or small, longer or shorter) stuff and take pictures as needed. how clothes "should" fit is not an objective stance and that's okay - find what is comfortable to you, starting with whatever you wear most often
if no, then as scott and oman said, form a more concrete idea of what you want to look like/what you think is cool and then start trying to get things that resemble that idea
realistically you're not going to get all three of fast, inexpensive and well-made, so it's worth waiting so as not to waste your money
Do not spend £300 on clothes in Cardiff in one go, options are limited and you'll wind up with badly made stuff that fits no one well from Primark or similar.
Is there anyone you think dresses well you'd like to emulate?
