I haven't looked at the solution, I want to know how to think about these types of problems

Note that c vector and cxa are perpendicular to each other.
So basically magnitude of b vector has perpendicular components c and 2(cxa)
Now just do $\sqrt{\abs{\vec{c}}^{2}+(2\abs{(\vec{c} \cross \vec{a})})^{2}}$
Option c
?
Yup, this
Wait what's the latex for cross product?
Ah thanks

And set this equal to |b|
Which is just one
So you can just square on both sides
yep, got it
hopefully i get better at spotting these things
