[Urgent] Issue adding website.

While I was trying to add my new domain bought through godaddy to my cloudflare account I was getting the zone lock error. The error is attached to this message as you can see below. On further investigation we found this new domain was previously owned by some one before and had already created a cloudflare account with it and has a zone lock. I have tried communicating with go daddy also to get some info into this but was of no use. It says to contact cloud flare and prove domain ownership to get the lock removed from the cloud flare end. How can I fix this issue ? Need help as we are in between a domain transfer in the company.

Since we were using a free plan we were asked to do a community post. Which we had already done: https://community.cloudflare.com/t/error-on-adding-new-domain/761678/4 We want to upgrade to a pro plan but without adding a website we were not able to do that either.

@Laudian since i couldn't add my domain, there weren't any affected domains for me to select from. Thus I ended up doing a community post. Any idea how to raise a ticket for this?

Select the Account category when you create your ticket.

@Laudian the problem was even if I select account management and any options from there, I end up being asked to select a domain. Since I could never add a domain due to the zone lock, I end up being promoted to raise a community post which I already did. ☹️
