✅ Help with running github program (for dark souls)
Hey guys im playing Darksouls remastered and I'm trying to set up a dark souls death counter that I've foudn on github but I've actually got no clue on how to run it or how to actually start the file so that it does what its supposed to do. I will attach the github link to this post and hope somebody will respond soon.

Run it
It will write the deaths into a text file

Also remember to disable the anticheat
If you couldnt tell i've got like about 1 week of cs experience and even less experience using github

hey @JohnStoober Ive just run the file and tried dying and I checked the txt file and the number stayed 0
like the cmd file says that it found dark souls remastered and recognised it but the txt file remained the asme
Are you playing one of the supported games?
yeah im playing dark souls remastered
the cmd thing recognises it aswell
Try rerunning darksouls and dying again

uhm it didnt find the program then I tried clicking enter
now it does this
before like force closing a second later
Try running as admin

Open a terminal in the directory of the executeable
And run the executeable within the terminal
Right click in the folder

And select open cmd

Click open in cmd or something like that
By the way are you sure you turned off the anticheat?
I dont think there is an anticheat on dark souls remastered 1

just view, sort by, group by, refreh, new, etc

When talking about address, im talking about an address in memory

This game reads an address in your RAM that the game has used to store the information of your players death count

Well there are techniques but theyre advanced and require a deep knowledge of how memory works
