What else do I need to add to complete an essential male shoe lineup?
This might be a really dumb question.. but what do I need to add to my lineup. I have a focus on functionality. Am I only missing fully white sneakers for shorts? Any suggestions?
I currently own:
Oxfords (for suit)
Brown Boots (for dinners/cocktail attire)
Nike predominately black with little bit of white Airforce 1's (for regular day wear)
Slide on Skeches with no laces (for when im super lazy and dressed poorly)
Fully black work shoes (slip resistant)
Beat up running shoes
Slides (beach)

do you feel like you're missing something and what does you gut say? There's not really any such thing as a "complete essential shoe line up" because it really depends on your wardrobe/job/lifestyle. To make the point a bit flippantly: you don't have any cycling shoes where they're pretty essential for me.
All that said I think white/off white converse 70s or nike blazers work very well in a lot of peoples wardrobe. Another shoe is a German Army Trainer : adidas make them, maison margiela do an expensive version, vintage military surplus ones are relatively cheap. But do you really need to add them to have a "complete shoe line up"? Probably not.

When I put on my nice shirts and pants in winter, I pair them with my brown boots.
Its a no brainer.
When I put on my nice shirts and shorts in summer, I feel like I don't have a shoe that matches the formality. I understand shorts are directly less formal, but idk, I feel like my only option is my Airforces and I definetly see other guys wear different shoes. I'm not really into boat shoes though and its tough to find something I actually like.
I actually own a pair of Nike Blazers although I havent worn them in years. Evertime I tried to wear them, I couldn't wait to take them off haha. I learnt from that, high tops are not for me.
I did see a pair of combat boots that were high top that looked sick. It doesnt make sense functionality wise though haha
German Army Trainer - are they like the sambas from adidas?
I'm probably overthinking this big time, but its been on my mind and it annoys me that I sometimes cop out and wear pants on super hot days because im going somewhere nice and want to look nice.

Anyway, what would YOU feel comfortable wearing with shorts? I wear huaraches a lot in the summer, or suede mocs like a clarks wallabee. The answer here is probably something you like and would feel comfortable wearing rather than trying to find some magic universal that will solve it.

moving past that hangup, i think it depends on what your "nice" shirts and shorts are. loafers are good, so are low profile sneakers (vans, shoes like pottery), so are leather sandals.
Tommy hilfiger collored shirts, short sleve in summer, long sleve in winter. Shorts are just dressy looking ones, same matieral as my pants, just shorter. Tend to be UNIQLO
