taking components of C's vel u can see that Vbc = Vb-Vc= v-(-vcos60) = 3v/2
now we have Vbc , with this vel dist l will be covered in time l/(3v/2) = 2l/3v
again using s=d/t
d= s*t = v ( 2l/3v ) = 2l/3
this is dist covered by one particle
multiply by 3 for sum of all
