Why is this step mandatory?
Title. You can't do anything on here until you post here. It was doing the same exact thing to me earlier, only except under the community tab. Why do you have to post here before you can chat in the mojo channel?

Okay, so after creating this post, the "Getting Started" steps are complete but if I go into a room, say mojo, or any room at all, the chat bar is grayed out and it says I don't have permission to chat. I've never encountered this before. I use discord pretty regularly
Hey @Empathy Monster, thanks again for flagging this. I'm going to close this thread since we're already discussing this in #Admin, please help as well as another channel. The issue in this case is that you haven't clicked "I'm human" in #roles-and-verify – I've added some additional language to the server onboarding guide to hopefully make it clearer that this is a required step (the other steps you mentioned are not required – just suggestions).
