Hi there, I recently bought a Nullbits NIBBLE from mechboards, and am having some difficulty finishing the project and getting it fully functional! I was hoping someone might be able to help :)
I've attached a diagram showing the status of each key - the green ones being tested succesfully and the red ones failing tests. The orange keys are keys I don't have assigned and so haven't been tested, but I think the issue is clearly with the bottom row.
There is a small scratch just above the left socket of the page down key (see attached). I thought this might be related. I tried adding a bodge wire between page-down and the up key which is to the left of it, and that allowed page-down to become responsive, but still no luck for the bottom row. I see in this pinout diagram (https://github.com/nullbitsco/docs/blob/main/nibble/build_guide_img/mcu_pinouts.png) that the bottom row is connected to pin 5 on the MCU, but I can't get a continuity beep on my multimeter when I attach one lead to any key socket on the bottom row and the other lead on the 7th pin of the MCU.
Also, none of the OLEDs are shining at all (although I've ocassionally seen the "first OLED" (the rightmost OLED from the bottom of the PCB) flash red briefly when USB-C is attached), but I'm not sure if that's because ZMK is not enabling them by default.
The MCU is a Nice!Nano v2 (since that's what I had lying around).
Any ideas what troubleshooting I should try next? Is there any more information that would be helpful?

Hi @Advent thank you for your reply. Yes, I meant RGB underglow (D'oh!). The problem was with the solder joints, however while debugging I made a few more of the pads come off (because I'm an amateur solderer and a new reel of solder I bought had a higher melting point than before even though it was 0.5mm dia...). I've added some bodge wires to the sockets to try and make things work. It's so close, but other than the underglow still not working - which is a nice to have but not my top priority right now - the only issue is that it seems I've hooked the left ctrl up wrongly with my bodge wire: ctrl shows up as ctrl + alt + super

Very ugly :( gotta learn somehow

I’ll digest that, have a fiddle and let you know how I get on. Thank you!
