the unit i.e. Mn(CO)5 is sq pyramidal not the whole
ur correct only dawg
but then how can it be octahedral
its not lol the answer seems marked wrong
it cant be oct
oh unless
ah
@Say_miracle_shadow @Percy its asking the coordination geometry around any one of the manganese

if you only look at one manganese, it has octahedral geometry
Here is one with numbers, that's visible
yeh mb
i said that Mn(CO)5 is sq. pyramidal but when this is joined with other Mn it attains C.N.=6 and hence octahedral...
C.N. = 6
got it...I did not consider the Mn-Mn bond
ohk
Also any tips to answer such questions?

I can't memorise such a huge para and retain all that info
ig by elimination method
who's asking u to memorize anything dawg
take the statements one at a time
check if they're true or not
hmm
I know that A is true but I have no clue about the other statements
yeah its all ncert ratta brainrot
ive done this ques before
for C and D, check the application of coord compounds section
E is wrong because Ca-EDTA complex is more stable than Mg-EDTA complex
okay
