Turtleneck Suggestions
Just looking for brand suggestions for a black turtleneck sweater, preferably in merino wool or cashmere. Would the softness of cashmere be worth it over merino? Only thing I worry about is the extra care for it

Depends on what your budget is
Good merino is like 95% of the way there to cashmere IME and about 1/3 the price so that's my answer.
Do you want chunky or slim silhouette?
For a merino I’d say under $100, if cashmere obv much more
I’d prefer chunky
Actually if you have suggestions for both I’ll check them out, don’t mind slim as long as it doesn’t feel thin

British wool is softer than merino?
not according to their FAQ which is probably correct
It could be, it could not be. There isn't a ranking of wool like that

generally speaking, Buck Mason or J Crew could be good options
Are people fond of Spier and Mackay's selection
I was looking at them as well actually, their chunky ones look good
