Gamescope crashes when using it to start Path of Exile 2
Hi,
I'm trying to enable HDR in Path of Exile 2, which requires gamescope on Linux (I think? Let me know if there is some other way). When I start Path of Exile 2 without any modification (except for a one-time settings fix https://www.protondb.com/app/2694490#H5uBQ9d-4f) I runs just fine
Wenn I start it with gamescope (without any args) using launch options in Steam it starts gamescope for a second and than crashes.
The console-linux.txt log has the following error message: [gamescope] [Error] vulkan: vkAllocateMemory failed (VkResult: -2)
I've tested other games with gamescope (Factorio and Windblown) and both work.
I tried the open- and closed-source nvidia driver, both crashing with the same error.
It also works on the steam deck using SteamOS and though it's a completely different beast at least there exists a configuration that works
My Hardware is:
i5-13600K
16GB DDR4
RTX 2070 Super
How well does Path of Exile 2 work on Linux and the Steam Deck?
