need help

My mod manager can't access this file, I don't know why, and on multiple mods
Solution:
When you installed the game you probably also ran Steam as admin, or Steam requested admin to install the game there. So now, the whole game folder is marked as requiring admin permissions to create/modify/delete files. And SMM has to install mods to the game dir, so it needs to extract the mod files there, and because that folder needs admin permissions, you have to run SMM as admin. Running SMM as admin isn't really recommended, specifically because the files would then require admin, but because your game dir requires admin already, it shouldn't cause issues...

Try deleting that file (D:\g\steamapps\common\Satisfactory\FactoryGame\Mods\default-lock.json) in file explorer and see if it lets you. If not, try restarting your PC

Paste the path D:\g\steamapps\common\Satisfactory\FactoryGame\Mods into the windows search bar, the file explorer navbar, or in the window that opens when you press windows key + R

Huh If you restarted your PC already, try opening SMM to install whatever mods you were trying to install before and see if that works
