Steam and lutris already uses your nvidia card (and everything they launch will use the nvidia card)
the
.desktop file for steam has a flag that tells it to use the discrete card always if the default card is not discrete
and all programs run by steam inherit that setting.
so unless a game forces its own faulty logic (which is rare), it will use the nvidia card.
