Black screen desktop mode after rotating display

So when the device is switched into desktop mode the screen just goes black, this happened after trying to rotate the display in kde display settings

I've run ujust fix-reset-steam and rm ~/.config/kwin* which neither worked Neither did rm -rf .local/share/kscreen/ help either

just reinstall the OS worked for me
