Local subdomains do not work as intended

First of all, I am a fan of Runtipi. My runtipi works on latest version of Ubuntu (n100 box) and avahi-daemon works well (n100.local works as intended). However creating subdomains for apps such as, filebrowser.n100.local does not work. I see there is a weird redirection to my .com domain name. I see filebrowser.n100.local attempts to do a redirection to my.domain/apps/filebrowser. Anyone had similar issue?

Hello @InfBoumcyCastle thank you very much for your response. Runtipi works perfectly well. No issue whatsoever. I narrowed down my problem. Avahi-publish was one way of creating sub .local domains. So I installed avahi-tools to check out. After running avahi-publish -a -R filebrowser.tipi.local 192.168.100.100. The subdomain worked (until a restart). I found that many solutions required a script to run at start up (create those pesky avahi-pubish stuff).
