Need help making my closet not mid asf
I’m like 16 and i got into fashion a couple years ago, and i listened to fashion ig and got basics. i had my phase where i lived and breathed at uniqlo but now im lwk tired asf of my style and idk where to go without spending hella money. I’m trying to look like less of an NPC because my fits are genuinely mid. Hoodie and jeans is spammed 5x a week and i’m tired of it. I need help.

it’s hella tasteful js not for me
hudson stauffer

idk i’m not into super niche styles but i js don’t wanna look so damn boring
I mean I get the general vibe
You can kinda just do whatever honestly lmao
Like if you wear just jeans then look into wider silhouettes like parachutes or cargos
Different outwear like bombers or varsity jackets
Even with a tee you could play around with something cropped or oversized
So I would feel like it depends whatever catches your attention
I like Abercrombie but you can prob just go look at ebay/depop too

mama e papa are hard set on not thrifting
bad luck apparently and they don’t think we need to
Thrifting isn't just about saving money. There are a lot of vintage pieces that aren't made today or not up to the same quality. For example people pay big bucks for vintage Carhartt Detroit jackets even though they make affordable ones today. Quality wool coats can be thrifted for 1/10 the price of new ones and those things will last a lifetime if you take care of it.
i don’t think that’s the argument they’re making and it’s 100% not me
given the choice i would love to be able to thrift
but given my household it isn’t an option
w/o thrifting you can only really just look at mall-range brands i think
like uniqlo i'm most familair with
i personally dislike h&m but idk, there's gap too. pacsun i think is more on trend
do you have accessories?
rings, hats, bags
I would add that thrifting/eBay isn't just for 2nd hand clothing. There are a lot of NWT clothing that are cheaper than you'd find on official stores, as long as you steer clear of brands that are faked often.
