Ye Ashish Arora sir ka handwriting hai kya? Ye p1v1 = p2v2 konsa equation hai And what is this Pascal's pressure eqn Arey ye sab naya naya kyu lag raha hai

let me send the full ques and sol.

The process involving the trapped air is isothermal so we use P1V1=P2V2 as temperature is constant After that you just look at the pressure and solve accordingly ig.

Hmm but my doubt is: how ρHg.g is cancelled to get last eqn.
SirLancelotDuLac
When you say volume is "152 cm of Hg" then that means P-f is 152*p_Hg times g. Similarly in other places, so the entire thing gets cancelled out

ok, got it! +solved @SirLancelotDuLac
