Gnome-deck boot into desktop mode by default?

Is there any way to get bazzite-deck-gnome to boot into desktop mode by default and/or enable lockscreen by default, like it's possible to in KDE image?

you will have to use the lockscreen from gamemode idk if the auto login to desktop will work the same way as it does in kde though as i dont use gnome. enabling the login screen by default will require you to make a custom image and remove 2 files as i have explained the other 500 times this has been asked https://canary.discord.com/channels/1072614816579063828/1297060772286824458

This is probably a good candidate to get added to the docs?

it is an unsupported configuration, even though i use it myself

I know, but then we just call it an unsupported configuration (like we do with enabling hibernate). I did figure out how to do it without a custom image. Would need to test it with Gnome-deck image too and see that it works. If you enable the login screen on your handheld and forget about it, you pretty screwed would need to listing that as a major caveat

yeah this is only meant for laptops and desktops, handhelds are completely unsupported unless it is permanently attached to a dock with a keyboard
