universal machine

New version of UM is working great!
Except for some reason, it is not picking up the Converter Recipes, modded and vanilla, like Dark-Ion Fuel for example

The new version added the Converter Recipes with the exception of the "Excited Photonic Matter." Maybe I am doing something wrong but I cant find that recipe. The normal converter has it listed.
You searched for that recipe? Sometimes some don't show up properly
I went through the whole list in the universal machine and yes.. also searched for it. Unable to find anything. I built a normal converter and there is was.. I have no Idea what I could have done wrong.
I was able to reproduce it, even uninstalled and reinstalled the mod did not work.

Mod Updated to fix
thank you so much. This is my favorite mod and I decided not to play until fixed. Great work. thanks a lot and keep up the good work.
I sorry to trouble again about the MOD but there seems to be another issue. I tested this on numerous machines and the problem applies to some but not all the recipes. Most of the later recipes, specially those with gases involved seem to have the problem. The moment I place Sommersloops into the machine the output stopes. I used the 500x Speed version of the Universal Machine. The Recipes I can confirm had the problem in my chase are: Neutral Quantum Processor, Excited Photonic Matter, Dark Matter Residue and Superposition Oscillator. Those are the ones I remember. No Idea what the problem could be. Thanks for the help
Hey Swisschris.hmmm , I think is because of the buffer size of the fluids..
Please, see if setting this buffer to max if solves it. Using this mod: https://ficsit.app/mod/LargeFluidOutputBuffers
Large Fluid Output Buffers - SMR
Increase fluid (liquids & gases) output buffer size from 50m3 to 100m3 (customisable) on all outputs from production factories.
Aye! This solved many, if not all my production issues involving UM 😄
Thank you as always. Installed the mod but wont have time to play till the weekend. I will let you know. Much appreciated. 👍
I played and actually finished the game. The Buffer Mod fixed some of the issues. Most UM functioned. But---. As far as I can tell, even with the "Sink Mod" I was unable to get rid of the byproduct liquids fast enough the really
sorry pressed enter. English is not my first language. So again. Even with the sink mod I was unable to get rid of all the byproduct liquids. So i was unable to tell if the 500x version worked as intended. Still this mod saved me and most importantly keep my factories at a "reasonable size" just the way I like it. thanks again.
The LFOB mod will just increase the buffer size so you can start the next cycle of production without going to idle (as happens with the default 50m3), typically you want the value to be 2x the max production batch value of your worst case recipe. But, during a production cycle you still need to empty that production. Slooping allows you to get more output for the same amount of incoming resources, as you will be aware. But when you start to go to larger productions you will need to underclock your machines so that the production cycle time is long enough to empty the buffer. To get more production, build more machines as in the end everything is limited by the 600m3 max flow rate of a pipe.
The new version of LFOB can autocalculate the correct buffer size for every machine, so you don't then have to worry about which recipe is the nasty one. Just enable to option in mod settings. When I said you needed to calculate the maximum recipe size I thought, why should you do that? I can do that for you 😄
I'm glad you made it as an Option.. I shudder to think if forcing newer buffers doing something to my Fuel Power Plant 😉
Well I didn't want to break anyones setups, so I made it an option that you can turn on if you think it will help 😄
And that, I'm extremely appreciative! 😊
FYI, I did test in my own massive game. All machines where fine, any excess drained out and then it just worked 😄
