On writing this out, Initial term and lim n tending to infinity-th remains and the rest gets telescoped. And limit of terms as n terms to infinity is zero so yeah
Say_miracle_shadow
so by putting the values will we come to know that terms r getting telescoped or how to identify that rest is getting telescoped... @SirLancelotDuLac
SirLancelotDuLac
Idhar in the 3rd line replace r by r+1 in the first term. This then becomes equal to -ve of the second term right? So for every r+1, the first term cancels out the second terms of r.
Say_miracle_shadow
oh yesss i get it thanks so we must first check by replacements like r+1 for telescope cutting , right? @SirLancelotDuLac
SirLancelotDuLac
