Custom Hostname Proxy Issue
Hello everyone,
I am using the Custom hostname option in cloudflare, however we are facing this issue:
When people have enabled
proxy for their CNAME record that is pointed to our custom hostname record, cloudflare is using theirs zone for protection, and our WAF Rules and Page Rules does not apply on theirs websites.
And whenever we those people get ddos, our paid cloudflare does not apply for those domains that have cname to our custom hostname because they have enabled proxy, and the attack is passing, like there is no protection. Is there any setting or step that i have to do, to make so even if they have enabled proxy, everything to be handled by our cloudlfare account ?0 Replies
