Please Update ayaneo RGB control commands for HHD support
Currently, RGB control does not show up in HHD for my Ayaneo Geek 1S.
The akmod from ShadowBlips repo suggests that the commands to set RGB is in /sys/class/leds/multicolor:chassis/
However this is incorrect, the folder does not exist on my bazzite install. Instead it is in /sys/class/leds/ayaneo:rgb:joystick_rings. See screenshot attached.

@antheas fyi
Fyi, the commands for brightness, colour etc seem to be the same as described in repo docs
Just the folder path is incorrect
Check the folder for whether it has a suspend fe
File
And tell me how it works
So I turn off the sleep RGB
Also
brew install tree
then tree
the directorysuspend_mode file exists. Its set to [oem] and works as expected
I don't know what expected is
I don't own an ayaneo device
When i go to sleep, the leds turn off. Turn device back on, leds turn on
What are the available options
oem keep off
Wtf
Why is keep off two words
What are they smoking over there
I believe they are separate
Write keep
No problem trying now
No idea why, struggling to write to the file. No issues with other files
Here’s tree
how do multi-index and multi intensity work
Here’s multi index.
Multi intensity sets the rgb value for both joysticks
As so:
max_brightness is 255 fyi
I believe that covers all commands
Yet to figure out why i cant write to suspend_mode
Hmm even with nano
Sudo nano the file and still get this when saving the file
It doesnt like my brackets i think wtf
I cant change the file. Even removing the brackets, i can save. But the file immediately reverts to [oem] by something externally
You need to write the word
No brackets
Ohh
Write Keep
Behaviour: when i sleep the device, the LEDs stay on for a brief moment, then turn off when the device is powered off.
This is slightly different from [oem].
Oem behaviour: the LEDs immediately turn off when i hit the power button, the device shuts down for sleep few moments later.
Slightly different behaviour between the two, but ultimately no real difference
Hope that makes sense
does your device support sleep
Yea, enabled modern standby with smokeless umaf. Works fine
let me get back to you with the rgb a bit later
Thanks
try now
by pressing test beta
Thanks @antheas will feedback in a few hours
@antheas works great so far. Only had 5min. Will test sleep soon
First try crew
I did not touch the suspend attr
give it a few more tries, abuse it a bit
so i can queue a release
@antheas works all good on my side. Multiple restarts, sleep, back on, charging, not charging, ran a steam update, multiple games.
LED State is always saved between sleep and restarts, shutdown etc
Great
It will be part of next stable
