Triangle is easy. nC3 - number of ways choosing three collinear points
SirLancelotDuLac
It doesn't match criteria of different sides tho innit?

Quadrilaterals, you can have at most two pairs which are collinear so id say go case wise.

hmmm
SirLancelotDuLac
nC3 won't be here tho right?

Why?
SirLancelotDuLac
Because it says "vertices from different sides"

Oh yeah nvm
SirLancelotDuLac
nC3 would just count cases where 2 or 3 are from the same side

So it's basically a lot of addition You need to go casewise
SirLancelotDuLac
Yep.

Choose three sides, choose a point each Rinse and Repeat Quadrilateral is simpler. All four sides to choose are predefined. So just choose a point each.
