Trying to name what this style is/ what do I search for more of this inspo?
I think something about the boot+jean does something for me and I want to say like academia?? prep but like a little schluppy? It's entirely possible I'm mixing styles or have gathered a wider array of style but I'm looking for more outfits to see if i can find the common thread between why I like these fits and would appreciate either keywords or inspo

americana?
most of these look pretty similar to me, you like high waisted reg/straight jeans in mid to light wash, loose ocbds and tucked sweaters, cropped jackets, and generally layers. Idk im just writing what I see. The blue jacket w/ untucked shirt is the odd one out but nice too
"ivy" should do it
These all (mostly) read as Ivy to me, but maybe different interpretations of ivy
ivy is a pretty good descriptor
@weejawnz on ig is worth following for more stuff like this
thanks all appreciate it
I would say 98% ivy / 2% street. There are definitely some ALD/Rowing Blazers/Noah vibes in there to me.
Those brands blend more of a Ralph Lauren country club style of ivy with streetwear, whereas I think a lot of the looks you shared may have more of the rugged Steve McQueen / Paul Newman / Robert Redford style of Ivy style mixed with streetwear.
With you on Ivy, leaning into Americana i’d say
“90s prep” might get some results
part of the problem i’ve found is when searching pinterest/depop/vinted you’ve got to both know the right term, and work out whatever dumb, stupid terms people use for stuff too haha
Ivy but wider fits are veering into city boy territory
this one in particular
these are city boy fits
check out popeye magazine
sure they can be seen as ivy but if you google ivy league clothing it wont get you looking like these fits
City boy fits (Ivy but interesting)
