You need reduced mass when you're considering the internal forces. Here it is not required.

ohh sh my natural instinct for 2 masses for a same spring is reduced mass why does this work by ust taking the whole system togethr as 2m

yeah reduced mass not required its just kinematics the spring is doing nothing i feel like its just there to throw you off
