Bazzite Install - Black Screen Minisforum AI370
Hello, today I tried to install Bazzite (bazzite-deck-stable.iso) on my new Minisforum AI 370 (AMD AI 9 HX 370) that I want to use in my Home Theater.
For some reason I don't really seem to get far, after booting from my USB stick I get the option to install Bazzite but after that I see some Linux bootup message and then a black screen that doesn't seem to go away no matter how long I wait.
Any idea what is happening there and what I can try to fix it?

Without Minisforum releasing a BIOS update fixing some kind of bug (see link above) Bazzite and other Linux distros will not run on Minisforum EliteMini AI370. Will keep this thread updated should something change.
For now I'm forced to install Windows 11 again....

I also tried to change the command by adding noapic but still black screen :celrCry:
Please don’t tell me I have to use Windows 😦
can you try booting kinoite/silverblue or other linux iso?
Yes, give me 15-30 minutes. Need to flash another USB drive
Hmmm, I tried EndeavourOS because I had the image still around and that also results in a black screen.
Okay, I got into the Bazzite Installer now by using Troubleshoot and Basic Graphics Mode
Not sure if I will have a working version after I install it via that
The installation worked, I got the "Secure Boot Instructions" (skipped them with "Continue boot") and then it did some initialization and after "Booting Bazzite ..." I end up in a black screen :celrCry:
After doing more research it seems that in other distros like Mint, a newer kernel has to be installed otherwise it also ends in black screens 😦
The Beelink SER9 MiniPC that has the same CPU had some kind of BIOS issue that resulted in this black screen.

Will check if for mine a newer BIOS is available.

Newest BIOS doesn’t help either.
