ROG Ally Remote Play not working

Hey, Since some time and some updates (2-3) I'm trying to get Remote Play working on the Ally. Branch is gnome:stable Device is: ROG Ally Problem: Remote play connection can be established, but the video transmission is choppy (at best) from the Ally to other devices. After stopping the game, the Ally always reboots completely with to verify the installation. When trying to play games from PC (Windows) on the Ally, the games start with looking fine but as soon as any kind of input is done, the screen turns into a mess of black and white lines I've tried turning hardware acceleration on and off, tested the different resolutions, frame rates and video codecs that are available. Also setting low latency on was on that list.
Solution:
so any OS using wayland by default is affected and its on valve to fix it since their remote play does not work with it

I've tried switching to the testing branch, which didn't solve the issue.

I've installed a fresh version of Windows to test Remote Play with it and it works flawlessly there. It's not a hardware fault.

the issue with remote play is that valve needs to update it on linux as it has several issues this is why we support sunshine/moonlight (sadly sunshine the host application has issues with portrait displays)

hey, thanks for the reply. It does work flawlessly on the Steam Deck tho. Is this an issue just on the "not valve steamos" linux distros?

steamdeck or rather steamos still uses x11 which is deprecated (in fedora) and unsupported here and in fedora
