If you were to design the planet zoo 2 what would you add/change.

Lets say youre the main person in charge of developing the planet zoo, your funds for investing into developers/etc dont matter and you can basically add whatever you wish. The starting point is the base game of planet zoo 1 with no dlcs, so would you add any of the content from dlcs into the main game or would you add some new animals that were never seen before as the selling point. What new mechanics would you introduce?

Flying birds and fish thats just obvious. Together with them i would like to add some mechanic so i can mix them with normal animals together. Like at Wrocław Zoo in Poland, you have this massive hippo habitat and in the water with them lives many species of fish and there are also many birds like ducks, egrets and ibises flying around

Make all blueprint objects from the workshop grouped so you don’t have to rip them apart.. Add elk into the game More waterfowl Add turkeys Make sure pc and console are up to date so console doesn’t have to wait for dlcs to come out Add more African animals Add more New Zealand animals and Australian animals Add Mexican animals

Upgrade it to unreal engine, add more animals and genetic color morphs. Give each animal a distinct personality, add different varieties of animations for sleeping/eating/drinking/resting/playing and most importantly family/environmental interactions. Add flying animal mechanics, resizable objects, custom barriers/plants and objects. A herding/ migration feature having the ability to assign species to certain herd groups and move them around, and migration so animals with similar health interest and needs actually move together from place to another instead of being so spread out.

To be honest i think they should really expand on the idea of the exhibits. Cause theyre pretty nice as for now as making really tiny habitata would be hard. But i think they should vary in size, from smallest for tarantulas to a pretty big exhibition for green iguanas and other lizards..something like the upcoming PK exhibit update for compys And to be honest theu could implement something similiar for fishes and tiny aquaric species such as salamanders

New 3x3 exhibits would be big enough for the smallest cat species, which would be a much more active animal compared to what we have. But if they would add these, i would prefer more customizing within the enclosure, obviously.

There are cat species much smaller than your 4kg european short hair. While, yes, they would thrive in something big, zoos in reality house them in smaller enclosures. A 3 by 3 is 144 square meters, with additional useable vertical space. Perfect would be having the choice between both, but really you will have trouble seeing these animals in regular enclosures, as they would be the smallest of the enclosure species, as far as i am aware.
