advanced research gives you a 30% bonus the species fertility does not change its just telling you that its below average the compare mates percentages tells you the chances of getting your stats to 100% (longevity, size, immunity, fertility)

Yep exactly, the higher the longevity means the longer the animal lives. Size is ofc how big it grows. Immunity is how it can defend against disease. And fertility is the amount/quality of offspring. So the goal is to get an animal to 100% in all four categories. The top number would be an average % score of overall improvement. So this is telling you that the potential offspring of these two mating will give you a minimum increase of 7% overall in stats. Then underneath, you have each category showing the potential increase in those stats.
