Jeans

what brand of jeans do yall usually get. Ive tried mutual weave and levies. Both of em rip at the back pocket. Mutual weave lasted 8 monthis levies 17 wears(these were the really expensive ones too). Also tried lee and wrangler with the same issue but i dont remember how long they lasted. Im tired of stretch denim. My jeans used to last years before they got holes and wear out in the knees. Now its always around the back pockets within a few months. Looking for something in the $50-$120 range.

My last few pairs have been Edwin, and lasted years and years

17 wears is unrealistic, unless you’re doing something extremely rugged or acrobatic. Probably a fit issue rather than the brand’s quality construction Post pics

avoid jeans that are not 100% cotton at all costs especially for durability

I’m going to disagree with that one here. Not that I don’t prefer 100 cotton Just clearly there is more at play

The corners of the back pockets began forming holes after 17 wears. Not massive but noticeable. Its massively upsetting to me. Both pockets have started getting them These are jeans purchased 2 months ago and not worn for anything other than walking around or sitting in an office
Scott (stupid)
Are they too tight?

But to answer your question- for 120 collards, personally I would look for tcb jeans or sugar cane used but new condition Raw denim guys might recommend unbranded or brave star for that price point but personally I think their construction is spotty and the cuts are not for me Maybe Uniqlo for a budget option or gap/j crew on sale Also wonder, if the fit is actually fine- if the particular jeans you had already had some structural issue there, 17 wears is not normal

Thanks. I have liked the mutual weave but only because they are cheap enough to replace every 6 months. And this is an issue ive had with multiple pairs on both pockets. Not just the one i have my wallet in. Ive noticed that stretch denim is worse and wears quicker in pocket corners than non stretch
Scott (stupid)
If it’s multiple pairs is 100% either your fit or your lifestyle sorry no jeans will fix that

Levis makes a lot of different stuff at different quality levels and price points. The cheap stuff is...not good. But Levis that are 100% cotton from the premium line are quite decent, I think, and around $100-150, or better on sale. Uniqlo is another option. They make some very decent jeans in the $50-100 range.
johnnnnnnnytsunami
Red tornado and Bronson mfg make some pretty decent selvedge denim for less than $100

That's so weird that it's happening on multiple pairs.
