new to linux KDE Partition Manager need superuser to unmount.
Sorry if this sounds dumb but i want to remove my winows partition and transfer it to the bazzite one how do i unmount the bazzite one so i can transfer the unallocated ssd space? When i try it says i need to be a "superuser"?

you need to use a live usb to resize and move bazzite, you cant move or shrink an already booted system
what you just did with force unmounting it is like demolishing a house to rebuild it while there is people still inside it....

you can use a gparted live usb to resize and move the partitions
I’m still not able to make bazite bigger

Do I have to move it
If yes how
you need to move the ext4 partition then resize the btrfs partition and then wait until it is done, once you start moving/resizing, canceling will lead to data loss
How to I do that
right click on the ext4 partition then i am sure you can figure it out
Not sure how to move it
you drag it
right click on that

it gives you option to resize/move

you cant move it anymore because you made an ntfs partition on the unallocated space
Oh lemme remove that then sorry forgot
Ahh I see so now I move that to the left?
once the ntfs partition is removed you go into resize/move and just cut the "space preceding" to "space following" for the ext4 partition
after that you can resize the btrfs partition
Okay thanks now do I put the ext4 back or all good now
its all good
Apply ?
essentially imagine if you needed to expand a room, you have to move the wall to expand it
yes
apply
and wait
Sorry I was being a bit stupid haha I’m all new to this stuff
its why i explain it in a way most people can understand
Tysm
Then after it’s done I should be set?
yep
there is a microsoft folder in the efi partition you should remove but you dont need gparted live usb for that
Where would that be located
/boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft
you will need sudo to remove the foldertysm once again
